Poking our nose out of Holyhead

Today a much abated wind offered a SW F3, so Aimee and I with friends Trevor and Stefan took a morning spin round the harbour and out into the bay. Dodging the enormous Irish ferries, we carried staysail, Yankee and finally shook the reef out of the main. Our first run under full sail! 6.3nm, avg 2.7kts
